When will You Receive Your Third Stimulus For $1,400?

Well today is January 20, 2021, which is the day of Joe Biden’s inauguration & also Trump’s final day as president. A lot of people have celebrated his departure & a lot of people are devastated because it & due to financial burdens that COVID-19 has caused. This pandemic has altered jobs, living situations, as well as healthcare leaving tons of Americans in a scarce predicament. Asking when will we receive a worthy amount of funds to maintain stability?

For those who may not know when this pandemic first wave hit, Canadians received relief payments on a WEEKLY BASIS of $2,000. Yes you read that correctly $2,000 WEEKLY! Now of course we know the U.S. has been in debt for a very very long time. So it’s a no brainer that the U.S. Government wasn’t able to grant a package as such, however there was some type of “relief.” Rent was extended along with light bills/utility bills as well. Creditors automatically canceled credit cards for users in case of being dramatically impacted financially.

It is said that Americans may not have to wait too long, newly found President Biden says the likelihood of his stimulus check will be $1,400. This will make up the $1.9 trillion COVID relief plan that Biden has presented on Thursday Jan. 14, 2021. Biden’s plan includes more funding for COVID vaccine distribution, testing & it will also aid small businesses, to the direct payments to the American people. Biden said during layout of his plan that “I’m convinced we are ready to get this done.” “The very health of our nation is at stake. We have to act, and we have to act now.”

Biden’s $1,400 stimulus checks could start hitting bank accounts in late February, said Alec Philipps. But, for that time frame to be realistically done, Congress would need to pass it by mid-February. Biden’s plan also applies to dependents & will extend stimulus payments to college students & any dependent over the age of 17.

Is a $1,400 stimulus enough for the people?

Is February too far away for what’s going on now?

What are your views on vaccine distribution, testing, & small business aid?

These 4 Kids Have The Highest IQ In THE WORLD!!!

Meet Ramarni Wilfred (16) , Alannah George (4), Alana Beevers (4 back in 2013) , & Muhammad Haryz Nadzim(3) ! All 4 of these individuals are members of “Mensa.” I know what you may be thinking, “What’s Mensa?” well it’s only the oldest & highest IQ society. Therefore, if you’re a member of this society you deserve to be there. And let’s just say that these 4 kids are well equipped for their membership!

16-year-old Ramarni whose IQ score of 162 is higher than Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking, & Bill Gates. In the early stages of her life, which was 4 years old Alannah George, whose IQ score is over 140 was considered the youngest member of Mensa from the UK (United Kingdom) at that point in time. Alannah also obsessed over words & numbers. Back in 2013 Alana Beervers was also 4 years old at that time had an IQ level over 145 at just 10 Months old! She also knew each letter in the alphabet. At 5 years old Alana also could name every State & Capital in North America. Just recently in Jan. 2020 to join Mensa was Muhammad Haryz Nadzim, who scored 142 on IQ test. He is now placed at 99.7th percentile.

What are you thoughts & P.O.V. on IQ Tests?

Are they validated in order to determine if individuals should be judged for their intellect?

Or are all of these kids just down right geniuses & should teach us all a thing or two?

Boot Blogs Brief Article: Aaliya The Illustrator

Aaliya Harrison was born in Manhattan, NY. She lived in Jamaica, Queens until she was 8. Aaliya and her family later moved to Macon, GA.

At first, drawing was just “fun” to her as a young girl. She would sometimes just want to show off her talents to classmates in elementary school. It wasn’t until she hit middle school that she discovered anime, manga, and comics! Aaliya then realized she had a passion for character design, comics, and graphic novels.

When asked what inspired Aaliya, she stated that “she was inspired by cartoons she watched such as: Pepper Ann, Powerpuff girls, and Anime.” Aaliya stayed consistent with drawing and she also experimented with different mediums in high school. Aaliya began taking art more seriously. This was always inspired by colors, comics, manga, American comics, street art, and drawing different people, as you can tell that hasn’t changed much since!

When asked, were her illustrations mostly characters or people?

Aaliya explained:

“Women are beautiful to me, and I love being a woman! Graceful, powerful, and captivating. I love to draw them. I am learning to embrace my femininity more. I reflect that in my art as well. If there was only one thing i could draw for the rest of my life that would be my subject.”

Although this has been her thing since a kid. It was most challenging in high school, the rest Aaliya [self taught] on her free time. She also studied tutorials online, and simply practiced.

Aaliya’s art are mostly people and character designs, which includes fantasy characters. However she does like to draw other things such as: buildings and animals. Those are mostly in her sketchbook. Aaliya feels the older she gets she really just has one [subject matter] which are people!

It sometimes may become challenging to illustrate/create characters or people. Aaliya rarely has this difficulty. Only if she has art block then it becomes difficult.

Aaliya joked that there are artist that are experts with drawing hands. She feels she is okay at it. Sometimes she uses a reference or her own hands for a pose.

What’s next for Aaliya?

Aaliya:

“I hope to start making and selling prints of my art work soon, one of my goals are to make a graphic novel and create an artbook filled with my sketches, paintings, and everything in between!”

Her name is Asiana Hollingshed. She was born in San Diego, California but was raised in Macon, Georgia.

What inspired Asiana to wear multiple hats pertaining to her brands such as; LashByA, Asia’s Glamour, & Modeling is because she always wanted to be an [entrepreneur] . She never saw herself working for anyone else; however, she had to start somewhere and watch herself develop.

When asked was modeling ever challenging or did it come naturally as far as a comfort zone, Asiana explained:

“Honestly, it was challenging when I first started only because I was so insecure about my skin, but now that I’ve grown more comfortable with myself I can say I love it! I’ve been out of my comfort zone once with my bikini shoot but hey that’s the perks about modeling.”

Asiana tied all her talents together with “Natural Beauty” her mother has always been into home and natural remedies.

That’s the whole purpose of Asia’s Glamour. It showcases natural beauty using natural products. [Cruelty free]. Asiana’s mother most definitely motivates her to keep going!

Hopefully, a nice little mansion on the hills, but no for real. I honestly just want to better myself as a person and the people around me. Live my life to the fullest with no regrets, because tomorrow isn’t promised.”

Boot Blogs Brief Article: “Chokoletd”

Destiny Walden, designer and founder of “Chokoletd” born and raised in Macon, Ga. Small town girl with big city dreams!

You may ask, “What does “Chokoletd” mean? Destiny explains:

“You would probably say “chocolate” or something else. When people pronounce it wrong I don’t get offended. That goes to show that I am doing something right and it always remind me that

LOOKS ARE DECEIVING“.

You read the name, just like she looked at me. You were wrong but I have no problem educating you on where and why you were wrong. The main purpose behind my drive and push is to diversify the fashion industry more, keep others motivated, dedicated, and persistent.

Learning how to design wasn’t a walk in the park for Destiny. She eventually got it downpacked; however she explains the process was very difficult for her! In fact Destiny was so determined to learn how to design and sew. She even offered local designers money to teach her the basics and they all told her [NO]. That pushed her even more. She sat down for days reading, working, and making mistakes. She basically taught herself how to use a sewing machine and how to make garments all at once. The experience for Destiny was astounding. She learned that no matter how hard something is in life if you really want it you’ll go get it with no excuses! Destiny felt as though she completed the biggest step in her career by doing it herself.

Destiny hasn’t released any major collections this year. She only introduced them. One of the collections are “THE LAD” collection, which is going to introduce her brand as a whole. The meaning behind this is “Looks Are Deceiving” abbreviated and also representing her journey. The message behind this is the fact that she was told she wasn’t going to make it, because she was black.

Destiny:

“The lady who told me I wouldn’t make it in the fashion industry due to the incontestable fact that I am black, encouraged me! Giving up is what she wanted. I was proving a point to myself more than I was to her. That didn’t discourage me, it gave me a platform to keep pushing. I also wanted to keep going and have faith just to encourage those who would’ve given up.”

Destiny wanted to be that person who stepped out and stood up for what she believed in. Fortunately, from there many people gained respect for her and also started to look up to her in different ways. That was another goal accomplished for Destiny!

Destiny has a very strong passion for executing! The line “BLACK PEOPLE DON’T MAKE IT IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY.” stuck with her and motivated her tremendously!

She explains that line is what pushed her even more and that the color of her skin doesn’t define her talent nor does it define her drive. She didnt give up, because that’s what expected of us. She also came a very long way and whenever she endures that “give up” feeling, Destiny just thinks about how many people look up to her and how far she’s come.

Destiny collabed with Miles Robinson, whose the designer of “BlacklNoir.” She’s known him for almost 2 years now. They met at The Academy of Art University. “Chokoletd x Black Noir” is a collaboration in which they pushed the privellige of being black and embracing it! This collaboration is a merch line that will support Destiny’s upcoming fashion collection “THE LAD”. She basically gave him the ideas of what she was looking for and Miles illustrated it.

The “Colorism” collection has not been released just yet. Destiny isn’t sure when she will drop it. It may be some time this year for sure. This collection pushes the definition of (colorism- discrimination used because of skin color is a form of prejudice or discrimination in which people are treated differently based on the social meanings attached to skin color). After doing research, Destiny decided for her color story the collection would be different shades of brown. This will represent a variety of shades also the editorial makeup that her models are wearing will represent the pain that our ancestors had to go through.

When asked what did Destiny learn about herself while working 52hrs a week, being a student of fashion designing, and also planning/executing a fashion show?

Destiny stated:

I learned that I could actually do WHATEVER I put my mind to. I didn’t know how deep my passion was for designing until I wanted to design and sew more than I wanted to sleep. My mom always told me that I was very “persistent” and that I needed to put that towards [something]. Honestly, it didn’t feel like 52 hours because its something that I actually LOVE doing. I get very excited. I find joy while planning my shows and designs, because as a kid all I did was “DREAM”! NOW….Im at a place where I can turn those dreams into reality through my events and designs. I feel like a little kid at heart. Those “little” events that I had while playing with my dolls, the dreams that I followed are now unfolding into something REAL.”
